General Government/Executive Director's Office

The Executive Director's Office functions as the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn catalyst between service delivery and the political direction of the Chief and Council.

Being at the core of the organization, the EDO ensures optimal level of resource management, quality assurance and operational standards by providing leadership and structure.

Also managed under General Government is the Activator Program and Fitness Program.

The Executive Director is responsible for: human and fiscal resources; managing, monitoring and reporting on all operations of the First Nation; recommending, developing and implementing policies and regulations; and providing effective management, supervision and support to the staff of the Administration Office.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant assists the Executive Director in the day-to-day general administration and provides executive/administrative assistance in meeting the established goals and objectives of the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn.

The Funding Research Coordinator is responsible for researching funding opportunities for the organization and for community members; preparation and distribution of Casino Rama funds and the maintenance of the community website.

Receptionist

The Receptionist is responsible for reception, guest traffic, mail and correspondence, processing Gas Cards, and Tax Exemption Forms (ie; HST, Hydro One, Bell Canada) and Pikwàkanagàn Tibàdjumowin, the community newsletter.
